Blood Test For Cancer?

There is a new test is so sensitive it can find one cancer cell in a billion. Veridex and Johnson & Johnson Ortho Biotech Oncology Unit will strive to make the test more affordable. They will start a research center at Massachusetts General Hospital. The hospital, Sloan-Kettering, University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston and the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, will begin using the test this year. If you could find quickly, "this drug is working, stay on it," or "This drug does not work, try something else," it would be enormous, Dr. Daniel Haber, director of Mass. General Cancer Center and one of Inventors trial, told The Associated Press. It will take five years to test before the procedure will be on the market.

My question is: What does it mean if you have a cancer cell in solitary cruise along in the blood? Is a sparrow a spring do? Have we not all cancer cells have been isolated in our body? I need more information.
