I was looking for a pic. of an angel to post in this blog, and this image was one that came up in my search. I decided to use it because mothers really can be angels. And a pregnant woman is a wonderful symbol for new life, spring, transition, courage, etc. Plus I think it is a beautiful image. The pic. above this one is of an "angel nebula."

finding a clear reflection
hope in the many
mirrors of Self
significance beyond measure
measure beyond significance
this world
this mother
this child
oh womb of Mother Earth, nourish your child
oh feet of Jesus, guide your daughter
through this strange beautiful life
complete your work
for thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory
